On Wednesday the 2nd of November 2016 professor Denise Eygendaal gave her inaugural lecture in Amsterdam, titled: “The elbow: exclusive, effective and essential”.
In this lecture she explained i.a. the important role of a well functioning elbow joint and she advocated to improve the prevention of elbow complains in children and gave recommendations for improvement of the training of orthopedic surgeons.
Denise Eygendaal is the first female professor in orthopaedics in The Netherlands.
For several years, Denise is instructor of the Arthroscopy & Arthroplasty of the Elbow course. We congratulate her warmly on this appointment.
